Utku Yılmaz is a graduate of Istanbul Gelisim University. He works as a speech and language therapist at Larenks Speech, Language and Occupational Therapy Center.

Speech and language therapy aims to help a person express themselves more clearly and comfortably. Language development, speech sounds, fluency and voice are assessed, and sessions move forward with play or everyday communication, depending on age and need.

The family is part of the process. Short, regular practice at home helps the skills worked on in session last. Progress is followed in small steps, without pressure.
